A custom hotel booking system built as a WordPress plugin, room availability, reservations and admin management in one place.
01Overview
Francesca's Place needed a hotel booking system tailored to its rooms and rates, so I built one as a WordPress plugin instead of wiring together a generic reservation service.
02The Challenge
Booking systems have to be trustworthy at the exact moment a guest commits to a room. The work was keeping availability, rates and reservations consistent in real time while staying simple enough for staff to run day to day.
03What I Built
- A custom room and rate model with real-time availability checking.
- A reservation flow handling stays, guest details and confirmation.
- Admin management for rooms, bookings and availability, all inside the WordPress dashboard.
